Analysis on the Seismic Behavior of RC Frame with Different Special-shaped Columns at the Bottom

Abstract In order to study the seismic behavior of bottom large-bay frame with different special-shaped columns, numerical models columns ordinary, dark and square at are established using finite element analysis in ANSYS. The three type Frame performed nonlinear time-history dynamic method under earthquakes. characteristics response RC conducted. weak parts development plastic hinges on end beams discussed. results show that can overcome phenomenon bottom, provide outstanding performance compare other two frames.The is better than normal however it not effectively floor. a theoretical basis for engineering application columns.
